Elcom Frequency Pulling

The maximum frequency of the Elcom unit can be increased by snowflaking on the oscillator inductor. After removing the top cover (the one with the most screws), a piece of copper foil about 6mm by 4mm is soldered to widen the inductor. The modification illustrated below increased the maximum frequency of one unit from 11.9 GHz to 12.1 GHz. G8GKQ
